1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or otherwise using BuzzCloud Vega ("Vega," "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Vega is independently built and operated by one person as part of the BuzzCloud project; it is not offered by a registered company, and these terms should be read with that in mind.
2. Description of Service
Vega is a self-hosted AI chat assistant that generates responses using locally-run and, for higher usage tiers, cloud-hosted language models. Vega also offers optional features including web search, saved memory, skill presets, voice interaction, and a standalone code-generation tool. The Service is provided on a best-effort basis, run on limited personal infrastructure, without any guarantee of uptime, availability, or response speed.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Vega. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Accounts
You may use Vega anonymously with reduced functionality, or create an account with an email address for full access. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Vega to:
- Generate content that is illegal, or that infringes the intellectual property or rights of others;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying infrastructure;
- Use the Service to develop a directly competing product by systematically extracting model outputs at scale;
- Violate any applicable law in your use of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for use that violates these terms.
6. AI Output Disclaimer
Vega's responses are generated by language models and can be incomplete, outdated, or simply wrong, including on factual, medical, legal, and financial topics. Vega's output is not professional advice of any kind. You are responsible for independently verifying anything important before relying on it.
7. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the messages, files, and other content you submit to Vega ("Inputs"). Subject to your compliance with these terms, you own the outputs Vega generates in response to your Inputs ("Outputs"), to the extent applicable law allows content generated with the assistance of an AI system to be owned. We claim no ownership over your Inputs or Outputs. We do not use your conversations to train any model.
8. Service Changes & Availability
Because Vega runs on personal, self-hosted infrastructure, features, models, usage limits, and availability may change or be discontinued at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any interruption, modification, or discontinuation of the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using Vega and delete your account at any time from account settings, which permanently deletes your chats, messages, memory items, and profile data. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuzzCloud Vega and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as Vega changes. Material changes will update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of Vega after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
